What are the biggest mistakes people make when visiting your country?
We might be nice…. But you just wait until that visitor leaves the room or goes out of earshot. We’re just as petty, judgemental, and jammed-packed-full-of-assholery as other countries. I knew a student once who compared Canadians to Koreans. Both groups are polite in public… and you won’t see their hidden agendas.
I think my fellow Canadians will open up and be honest if you speak to them privately. And you’ll need to dig a bit!
All bets are off if you watch Canadians go online and engage them on social media. The veneer falls away and they can be just as obnoxious as the neighbours south of us.
My fellow Canadians should review the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. And our Federal constitution. Really study it. It’s not like the statutes governing the USA.

My neighbours and extended (nation-wide) family need to welcome foreigners and tourists. As long as visitors follow Canada’s rules of law, we can have a groovy time. Smoke some dope. Eat some edibles. Drink tasty beer. And watch either a sunrise or sunset.
MONDAY AUGUST 24/26 FARM REPORT.
TS has been clearing away boulders and viable roots from our septic system’s distribution field. And she’s been uprooting trees that were plunked onto the field by the original installer. TS is discussing it with Evolve Builders, as I don’t have the patience to deal with them in a civil manner.

My neighbour (MS) gave me a mid century modern end-table to add to the pavilion. It’ll house the spare amplifier… to be added to the outdoor Low-Fi system. I can now prog rock out without panicking our cats 🐈⬛.

Laurel’s license plate is facing the green soundproofed, triple-glazed doors leading into our home. It’s a pleasant reminder to me. Behave myself when I’m out and about.
