- There are never enough hours in the day to get EVERYTHING done.
- I can’t make something idiot-proof. If something can go wrong, eventually it WILL go wrong.
- There are consequences for my actions. The outcomes may help, harm, or have no effect upon me.
- Our home must have companion animals. I am obliged to provide them with care… and not put myself above their needs.
- I have a unreliable memory.
- I can be an asshole.
- If I lie to my loved ones, they’ll figure it out. Tell the truth, but pick the time to do it!
- I can find exceptions to every rule.
- Somebody, somewhere will find my actions (or inaction) offensive.
- There’s no limit to human stupidity. Sometimes the best I can do are actions that limit the scope of their actions.
