My last blog post contained an AI-generated image of a black cat repairing a photovoltaic panel using some mysterious pipes and valves. The program DID capture the cat’s fur… at least how I imagine it. The fact that the the cat appears to be morphing out of the glass panel was odd. Oh, and cats actually doing menial human work. My point: AI-generated images are silly and humans can perceive them as fiction. When will images or manufactured voices get to a quality where they can fool me?
