TS and PN were finally able to dig into the sea-can and grab some missing pieces for the IKEA billy bookshelves. Once we recover from Today’s homesteader-workout regime, we can assemble a few more and get items off the floor. We also got into the cloakroom at the east entrance and put up shelves. The drywall Evolve Builders used is softer in texture than what was used in our 1970-era condominium. We had to use a different drywall plug! It looks like an oversized and squat, nylon wine corkscrew — and were worth the premium price for them. Shoutout to Wilson Building Centre Inc. (Home Hardware) on Highway 6 north of Ferndale, Ontario.

Each of our mechanical and electrical systems are designed by a different nation. Each country has its own core values and peculiarities. They transfer into their products: our electrical generation system is French-Indian-Chinese-Canadian. Our pellet boiler is German. Our bedroom A/C is Japanese. We have an Italian heat-pump in the e-shed. Our battery banks are Canadian-Chinese. And Genny-GENERAC was assembled in the U.S.A.
