let’s start with our sawmill structures trials and tribulations.

main home construction — highlights

Our construction manager pumped out and wiped down the floor of our cistern. That’s good.

This week, we may accomplish the following tasks on the construction site:

  • Plumber Tim Mayne returns. Sewer system connection. Water filtration and sterilization.
  • Bulk water delivery into the above pictured cistern. And properly seal the hatch.
  • Charge up and condition the infloor heating fluid system.
  • Test burn the boiler.
  • Bunkie roofing gets delivered. TS, SB and PN cap off the bunkie before the constant rain (or sleet and snow) descends upon us.
  • The painters show up and finish their interior work.
  • Electricians.
