Meat! Knitting! Electric Woodpecker. PV-panels.

Justin at the Electric Woodpecker had to postpone TS’ consultation today. So, we bounced around the peninsula!

We had lunch at Sauble Beach.
We’re renting a shelf at this venue. A fair deal.
Heck, even our rental home has such a plaque (by the door).
This is NOT Tim Hortons. Be patient while you wait, eh.
My iPhone captured an unexpected level of detail with these knit items.
Yeah, I’m biased. TS has the minerals for running her own business!
Our neighbour, up the highway from Ferndale.
It’s a model business card. They spend more $ on the food.
Are they open during the winter? Stay tuned…

August 15th update from the construction site.

TS & I will be removing dead-fall from the ridge.
They’re not hooked up yet. The 1st array is east of the site.

I will be helping Whitemud Drywalling on the job this weekend (Friday to Sunday). The windows need to be opened, thus allowing the walls to dry out. This is one of the disadvantages of

….running an off-grid home (where the PV system is still being assembled).

….and building on an isolated property.

One CANNOT just crank the windows WIDE open… and walk away for the day. We have many CRITTERS slithering… flying… hopping… and hiking our 10 Ha (yeah, I’m looking at YOU… humans on the Bruce Trail). I don’t want uninvited guests to slip inside! Does a bear shit in the woods? Yep. And on the gravel roads, driveways, tractor-ATV trails, and anywhere else it pleases. These furry ding-dongs have been known to open car doors and rip up interiors. A house? Hell yeah!!

No unauthorised fauna may reside in our home. Period. End of story. No. No. No.

It’s a bit on the nose, however, I really do believe BDB is an unusual product that dogs love.
