When I want to go down the rabbit hole, I hit Wikipedia and follow the links. I love lists of things… if they’re ranked, so much the better. When it’s time to sharpen my cutlery, I’ll spend a lot of time getting the best edge I can (I’ve yet made a knife shaving-sharp). And whittling… oh boy. give me a fresh stick and I’ll go at it with a buffet of knives. Each blade geometry has its own idiosyncrasies. When it’s time to count trees, bugs, stars, constellations, or leaves on a plant… well, I’m all over it. And SCUBA diving. In the Fall, I’ll get back into the water (when it’s warm) and take my life into my own hands. It’s calm down there!
