There’s a box… somewhere safe and OFF SITE. It includes an inventory of our most valuable pieces. I would then file a police report. And then… and then work my way through the insurance claim process… that might take months or years.
Possessions are just things. My spouse? My companion animals? They are valuable to me. They cannot be replaced… possessions CAN. These questions are at the top of my mind as we pack up our home for the big move. I have a lot of sh*t that I simply do not need. And I’m a packrat!
TS is having some baaaad experiences with Facebook Marketplace. She’s trying to avoid throwing out useful items… and give such items away for free. TS has had users complain about having to wait for item-pickup. If an item’s FREE, then TS is doing the interested party a favour. TS has had a string of ungrateful patrons this morning. She’s been reported to the moderators! What the f&&k?! TS took all the rest of the material off FB Marketplace — no good deed goes unpunished, no?

TS and I met with BD this morning, and we have agreed to an accomodation that benefits both parties. Agreements must be signed. Payments transferred. I am grateful to Ms. Barbara Dirckx for introducing us to BD. We get a PO box in the town… nice! It is one less worry for us.
