Working with my cutlery…

Describe one habit that brings you joy.

while TS slings dog biscuits. Do I get bitten by my flock? Indeed. And… and I try to learn from the error. I also used to spend too much on fancy (Japanese-water… and Arkansas) sharpening stones, until I read this bush-crafter’s seminal work (and it’s well written, too). Book covers, carpet tape, and fine grit sandpaper. Assemble! It’s a cheaper media and it forced me to improve my hand-angle-positioning.

Yes, I did check with the festival owner BEFORE bringing in my pointy flock.

Regrettably, I didn’t get the chance to attend his training sessions. MK knew his own mortality, so this old-timer insisted upon being video recorded. His estate released sets of DVD-tutorials. What the digital product lacks in polish, Mors makes up for in solid content. This teacher even ensured this material was on YouTube.

He’s unassuming, no nonsense, and confident.

Mors, thank you sir. RIP.

I asked TS to take an image of my back. The velcro didn’t hold it – safety pins came to the rescue.
2:20 p.m. and the weather may turn on us. In the meantime, I appreciated the local lizard.
Polly meets a parrot (while it poured).
Kali enjoyed the Black Dog Biscuits. Her sister? She was distracted. No cookie for her.

A 2-month-old raptor, with his baby fluff. Fine to look at. But don’t touch! And the baker of BDB, marvelling at her stock reduction. Nice!
